CSS changes for UI improvements

Below is a summary of all CSS changes between the previous LTS release and this release. Generally, these changes contain new feature implementations and various accessibility improvements.

See all CSS changes between v2024.3.LTS and v2025.1.LTS in GitHub.

Annotations API

  • Removed the internal Learnosity Design System (LDS) styles to use an externally shared version of the LDS across Learnosity APIs, improving load times and rendering speed.

Assess API

  • Converted the review screen’s list elements from using an unordered list <ul> to use a form <fieldset> with <div> elements. This improves the review screen's accessibility by announcing the filter state when the Item filter changes.

  • Prefix all Author API elements classes with lrn-author- to avoid external styling conflicts.
  • Added styles for the new Item branching interface for adaptive Activities.
  • Fixed a typo for classes starting with .lrn-author-assess-thumbail to be .lrn-author-assess-thumbnail.
  • Improved various elements of the Author Aide interface.
  • Fixed a bug in the Activity editor view that prevented the full content from displaying in the "Choose a preconfigured template for the player" under the Player tab.
  • Updated the internal Learnosity Design System styles.

Question Editor API

  • Removed the active border for the More Options element.

Questions API

  • Removed the internal Learnosity Design System (LDS) styles to use an externally shared LDS, improving load times and rendering speed while keeping styles unchanged.
  • Added styles to support the new math image capture functionality.
  • Added styles to support the new hints for math capabilities.
  • Improved the accessibility of the audio player Feature type.
  • Fixed a bug with the number line plot Question type where the graph would disappear when using iPad devices.
