Connect to Learnosity Build Aide MCP

Install Learnosity Build Aide MCP from your client

The Learnosity Build Aide MCP server is distributed through the marketplaces, extension directories, and plugin stores of all major MCP-compatible clients. In most cases, connecting takes two steps:

  1. Open your client's MCP server directory, extension marketplace, or plugin store.
  2. Search for Learnosity Build Aide MCP, then click Install (or Connect, depending on the client).

There is no account to create, no API key to paste, and no configuration file to edit.

Connect to Learnosity Build Aide MCP manually

If your client does not list the Learnosity Build Aide MCP server in its directory, or you prefer to configure it yourself, add the following to your mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "learnosity-build-aide": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.learnosity.com/build/aide"
    }
  }
}

Confirm your connection

Restart or reload your client, then open its MCP servers panel. The Learnosity Build Aide MCP server (or learnosity-build-aide, if you connected manually) should appear as learnosity-build-aide should appear as Connected, with the Learnosity tools listed beneath it.

Try one of these prompts to confirm the MCP server is actually being consulted. For example:

  • "Using the Learnosity Build Aide MCP, show me the init options available for LearnosityAuthor.init."
  • "Use the Learnosity Build Aide MCP to walk me through the golden path: authoring an Item, delivering it, and reporting on the result."
  • "With the Learnosity Build Aide MCP, explain how to generate a valid request signature in Node.js."

If your assistant answers without referencing the server, prompt it explicitly - most clients let you name a server directly.
