Understanding the different editing interfaces in Learnosity Authoring

Learnosity Authoring has three different editing interfaces for authors:

  1. The Activity editor.
  2. The Item editor.
  3. The Widget editor.

Activity editor

The Activity editor is used to create and edit Activities.

The screenshot below shows the Activity editor interface.

Clicking on the "+ Create Item" button, or on the heading for any of the listed Items (edit) takes you to the Item editor interface.

 

Item editor

The Item editor is used to create and edit Items.

Clicking the + button (create) or the pencil button (edit) takes you to the Widget editor interface.

 

Widget editor

The Widget editor is used to create and edit Widgets, which is the collective name for Questions and Features.
